Rain of Life is inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Since 2015, the United Nations (UN) has set goals for the world’s societies to improve their quality of life together, leaving no one out of the progress. These goals have been established with a reasonable time frame of 15 years for their implementation and achievement. All citizens of the world are called upon to accept, care, concern and achieve these sustainable development goals, governments, private companies, public companies, communities and individuals.
Objectives involving Rain of Life
There are seventeen sustainable development goals, ranging from poverty to the partnerships that can be made to achieve the goals. However, there are three goals that involve us most prominently among all those proposed. These are: Goal 3, health and well-being; Goal 6, clean water and sanitation; and Goal 9, industry, innovation and infrastructure.
Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
This objective includes, among other things, ensuring that humanity has access to essential sanitation services, an aspect that is clearly lacking in the world’s poorest populations. Access to good qualitydrinking water is fundamental to its effectiveness.
However, access to clean water is relevant, first and foremost, for disease prevention and well-being. This drives us as an industry to develop technologies such as atmospheric drinking water generators to go hand in hand with this sustainable development objective.
Goal 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all
Rain of Life’s mission is not only framed within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 3, but also includes Goal 6, which is fundamental to our work. The greatest threat to water is the limitation of mass access to it, accentuated by pollution, climate change and other factors caused by human action and its indiscriminate use and drinking water as a renewable, limited and scarce resource.
One of the actions that can be taken to work in line with this UN objective is the promotion of public and private infrastructures that invest in and supervise water sanitation. Rain of life equipment is a viable solution to this situation, allowing to obtain from 50 liters to 10,000 liters of water per day.
Goal 9: Build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and encourage innovation
This objective drives our mission in the market, by focusing directly on the innovation of equipment that provide solutions to any of the problems present in the world. The implementation of these technologies favors not only industrialization, but also the generation, potabilization and supply of drinking water in living, health, safety and industrial environments.
Rain of Life, as part of the international industry, is committed to developing actions that promote the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, and every day we continue to work to provide quality drinking water for everyone.
